#150 THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD

At a commercial salmon set netting fish camp in the Bristol Bay / Dillingham region, a young boy named Joe Jr. experienced multi-year contact with Sasquatch entities starting at age four. Initially, he told his family about a 'man' waving at him from the beach, which escalated to multiple hairy creatures whispering to him when his grandmother was distracted, attempting to lure him away to play. Interestingly, the creatures explicitly told Joe Jr. they could not cross a semi-circular boundary line where his grandmother had walked and sprayed a spiritual prayer of protection.

Years later, when Joe Jr. was seven, his father Joe finally investigated a sighting of a 'little hairy person' moving in the tall grass. Armed with a .300 Winchester Magnum rifle, Joe searched the brush but found only ambiguous double-impression ground marks.

The situation culminated the following season while setting up camp behind their shack; Joe Jr. screamed as a brown form approached his play area. Joe and a family friend pursued the target into a dense tundra and black spruce tree line. Venturing fifteen feet into the thicket, Joe looked up to find an immense, ash-gray skinned creature staring directly down at him from over the tops of seven-to-eight-foot tall trees. The entity possessed a highly wrinkled face, a massive round head rimmed by a thick ring of hair resembling a woolly hood, a flat nose, wide jaw, and pitch-black eyes. Joe struggled with his rifle's safety catch due to a sudden feeling of immense vulnerability, at which point the creature bolted away on all fours through the brush before standing up to retreat. Terrified by the realization that his son's testimonies were real, Joe immediately packed up his gear and abandoned the lease to register a permanent move to an entirely different set netting site.
