#87 RESCUED BY A FEMALE

In the mid-1970s, a 10-year-old boy named Dan, who had recently relocated to the Gulkana River drainage region, wandered off into the timber alone. After navigating a trail where he was actively paced and eventually cut off by a large, intimidating hair-covered figure 15 yards out, he retreated. Eight months later in May, during a torrential rainstorm, Dan became profoundly lost in the remote backcountry wearing only a t-shirt and jeans.

Suffering from the early stages of hypothermia and shivering violently, he found himself stranded on the wrong bank of a swollen, rushing creek channel. As search and rescue aircraft and sirens echoed unsuccessfully in the distance, Dan resolved to commit his life to the current, preparing to jump onto a floating log to navigate downstream toward the Richardson Highway bridge. Just as he approached the torrent, a massive female Sasquatch suddenly rushed out from the dense foliage, snatched him up into her arms, and carried him away, causing Dan to instantly pass out from sheer terror.

Hours later, Dan awoke entirely unharmed, warm, and dry, carefully deposited underneath a thick canopy of protective foliage situated directly adjacent to the Richardson Highway, suggesting the female entity had acted out of deep empathy or a tactical desire to clear the search parties from her territory.
