In this terrifying episode, a routine family berry-picking trip into the Alaskan interior turns into a desperate escape. Siblings Gabe and Rhonda were visiting a childhood spot with their extended family when Gabe, exhausted and hungover, dozed off while on bear watch. He was jolted awake by a massive, horse-like exhale directly behind him. Startled, he turned to face the treeline and locked onto a massive, dark entity moving stealthily through the shadows.
Realizing they were dealing with a Bushman (or Hairy Man), the family scrambled onto their four-wheelers and fled. But the creature didn't give up. It violently paced them through the trees, cutting them off and using the tundra brush to circle around them as they drove. Despite an elder's advice to ignore the creature to stop feeding its energy, the entity relentlessly trailed Gabe's four-wheeler for nearly a mile and a half. When they finally reached their truck, Rhonda was forced to fire her pistol out the window to stop the creature from closing the gap. Even miles down the road, when Gabe briefly stopped to retrieve his forgotten shotgun from the trailer, the unseen creature was waiting in the nearby trees, perfectly mimicking the grunt he made as he hopped down to the gravel.
