A share from Ivan who had an encounter with his brother on the King Salmon River while searching for gold. On the third night, they set up a small camp, when they heard a scream that sounded like a woman being murdered. They went to check it out to offer help, but as they crossed the river and approached the bank, they had a realization that the source of the scream could be the Hairy Man.
They still thought it was a woman in trouble and continued looking. They heard splashing in the river, and on the other side of the bank, they saw a dark figure dart off into the bushes, where they realized it was indeed a Sasquatch. They quickly headed back to camp to pack up and leave when they heard a loud scream from where they saw the dark figure. They then heard another scream, and then a subsequent return scream. Back on the skiff, when they began to pull away, they had debris caught in the propeller and pushed away with sticks.
As they're pushing along, they notice movement on the banks. They saw two Sasquatches on one side of the bank, and then saw another on the opposite bank. As they entered the deeper water, they dropped the kicker to attempt to start the motor, and the moment they restarted it, two rocks splashed right next to them, with both landing in the exact same location, demonstrating the incredible precision of the Hairy Man's aim. As they entered the Nushagak River, they noticed another standing on the same side and heard another scream so powerful, they felt it in their clothes and even through the skiff.
