In the summer of 2019, two retired medical consultants, Candace and Michael, embarked on a 30-foot boat excursion from Seward, Alaska, with friends. Seeking shelter from an incoming coastal storm, they anchored in a protected bay. During the early morning hours, the group was jolted awake by a terrifying, high-pitched air-raid siren-style shriek emanating from the nearby forest. Assuming a hiker or camper was in distress, Michael and the boat owner, Spencer, deployed a small runabout to investigate.

Tyler recounts a terrifying account by his father from 1946 during a mining operation off the then-Fortymile Rd.  The crew was subject to the full gammit of harassment, including the bushmen throwing a head of a caribou with horns ripped off onto their campsite, followed by a hindquarters.

The crew ended up abandoning camp and leaving the operation.

Blake and Riley were harassed by a hairy man while camping during an RV trip for their 5th wedding anniversary.

Siblings Donnie and Becca were allowed to have a night of camping in a tent with their uncle's permission during a snowy night about ten years ago.  That night, they had an encounter with a hairy man who continued to harass them while they were in the tent.  Thanks to some of the village sled dogs who tracked them down, and then their uncle and some adults, they were safe.

A terrifying share from Kirk.  While he was camping with his wife and young daughter at their cabin, a hairy man terrorized them until they were able to make it back to their skiff. 

Conrad, a pilot, shares his experience while taking time off between servicing clients to camp at one of his favorite remote locations.

Derrick shares his encounter while camping at Lynx Lake with his dog.  While waiting for his friend to show up, a hairy man terrorized him and his dog in the cabin.  When his friend finally showed up with his pickup truck, he was privy to the experience and quickly helped Derrick and his dog leave the cabin.

Tommy and Alice share a terrifying story during a camping trip. When Tommy encountered two hair men while hunting moose, he hurried back to the cabin as they followed him, where they terrorized he and his wife.

Alaska newbies Michael and Courtney share their experience while hiking Hunter Creek when they encountered a sasquatch who was stalking them at their camp site.  As they were retreating, Michael badly hurt his knee, compounding the stress of the situation.

Joshua, his wife Candace, and his friend Tim shared their experience while camping during a float trip on the Maclaren River.

Steven, an avid hunter, joined his pilot friend on a multi-week hunting trip in the Brooks Range.

Brothers Tom and Jory share an experience from 2003 when they flew to Von Frank Mountain for a camping trip.  Tom has not returned to Alaska since this incident.
