Throwing Objects

This account details an encounter from a husband and wife team, Doug and Marty, who were traveling toward McCarthy along the Copper River Valley's notorious McCarthy Road. After suffering an electrical failure in their RV, they pulled over for roadside repairs. While the husband worked on the vehicle, the wife prepared a meal inside.

Don and Tina were hired to operate a remote, one-man mining claim in the Koyukuk River drainage. After the owner departed due to flight delays, the pair spent three days working pay-dirt during a period of torrential rain. The isolation was punctured by heavy, percussive bangs—as if large rocks were hitting the metal mining equipment—that occurred regularly.

Bridget and Jeff, an expectant couple, visited a remote cabin in interior Alaska near Fairbanks for a week-long getaway. After their relatives departed, they were subjected to a 30-hour campaign of psychological and acoustic terror. It began with human-like 'throat-clearing' sounds outside the treeline, followed by a piercing, high-pitched whistle.

Travis and his wife moved to a 5-acre native allotment in the Copper River Valley, hoping to establish a homestead. The land featured an existing, un-finished log cabin. On their third day, they were targeted by entities that began with subtle rock-throwing and escalated to a direct, terrifying communication attempt—the wife, Bridget, heard the entity mentally commanding her to 'come over' to the treeline.

In 1979, two brothers, Derek and James, ventured up the Snake River in Bristol Bay aboard their 32-foot fishing boat for a post-season excursion. On their third morning, anchored in a dense fog bank, they were awakened by an incredibly powerful, sharp 'whoop' vocalization that vibrated the entire vessel. Investigating the shore, they detected a large, dark presence stalking them from the dense grass line.

During the early 1980s, Nate and his wife Teresa were homesteading a parcel of land in the Copper River Valley when they began experiencing aggressive, unexplained activity. The phenomena began with the forceful uprooting and inversion of timber stumps and escalated to a direct, violent assault on their livestock, where half of their chicken flock was slaughtered and plucked in a predatory frenzy. While working the land, the couple encountered a massive, ash-gray skinned entity that performed a 'spider-crawl' through the underbrush to ambushing them near their coop.

Approximately 3 years prior to 2026, two cousins, Jacob and his relative, embarked on a snowmachine expedition into the Chugach Mountains to collect beetle-kill firewood and set traps for marten and wolverine. While mapping out a clearing, the cousins were intercepted by a 10-foot-tall, dark, hulking entity standing between two trees. The entity’s presence was confirmed by a series of sharp, rhythmic 'whooping' vocalizations that circled their location, forcing the pair to flee.

Around 2025, a family group—Walter, Bernice, and their adult son Michael—traveled the Taylor Highway near the Mosquito Fork bridge. Crossing the span, they witnessed three massive figures crossing the road, each possessing a distinct, thick, four-foot-long tail. The entities stood approximately nine feet tall.

In 1984, an avid fisherman named John was driving the McCarthy Road toward a small lake north of McCarthy. While fishing a roadside tributary, John was repeatedly targeted by stones thrown from the dense alder brush—projectiles thrown with such force they shattered against the water's surface. Intrigued and slightly annoyed, John attempted to investigate but encountered only eerie silence.

Seven years prior to 2025, a couple named Craig and Marcy took their 12-year-old son Daniel to a family cabin located deep in the wilderness beyond the Willow/Big Lake corridor. While clearing their access trail, they encountered two separate pairs of hikers warning of a 'strange man in a fur coat' stalking the perimeter of the muskeg. During the build, they suffered repeated disturbances, including a jingle bell toy being snatched and thrown and heavy thumping on the cabin walls.

Tyler recounts a terrifying account by his father from 1946 during a mining operation off the then-Fortymile Rd.  The crew was subject to the full gammit of harassment, including the bushmen throwing a head of a caribou with horns ripped off onto their campsite, followed by a hindquarters.

The crew ended up abandoning camp and leaving the operation.

While building his cabin back in the 1960s, Bernard was terrorized by a hairy man.
